Machinist wanted in Polk County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a machinist in Polk County, Florida. Day-to-day duties: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line You should have: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Overtime paid at a premium rate.
