Great opportunity: ironing operator (California)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an ironing operator in Alameda County, California. Requirements: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Day-to-day duties: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching 2+ years on the tools preferred. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
