Immediate opening: we are hiring a spray painter (automotive) in Howard County, Iowa. You will work at a busy body shop. Requirements: • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing Day-to-day duties: • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun 1+ years on the tools preferred.
