Gas commissioning technician — Orange County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Orange County, Virginia. The job is in a gas distribution network. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Able to read isometric and site drawings The role involves: • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $20 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
