Safety marshal wanted in Dubuque County

Join our team: we are hiring a safety marshal in Dubuque County, Iowa. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate You will run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action. We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
