Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Bowman County, North Dakota. You will be based in a tool room. Requirements: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Day-to-day duties: • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes 6+ years on the tools preferred.
