Immediate opening: we are hiring a sausage maker in Bradford County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a halal meat counter. The role involves: • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts You should have: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $20 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
