We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Lincoln County, Colorado. Requirements: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Driving licence for travel between sites • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Day-to-day duties: • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls Overtime paid at a premium rate.
