Join our team: we are hiring a machinist in Elbert County, Colorado. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. Requirements: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus On a typical shift you will change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
