Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Bay County, Michigan. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety You will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
