UPVC door and window fabricator • Kusilvak Census Area, Alaska

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Kusilvak Census Area, Alaska. You will work in the profile cutting and welding bay. The role involves: • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile Requirements: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges Pay around $32 per hour, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
