Now hiring: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Wells County, Indiana. You will work at a busy garment factory. Ideal candidate: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown The role involves inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $140 per day, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off.
