Site safety steward • Penobscot County, Maine

Great opportunity: we are hiring a site safety steward in Penobscot County, Maine. You will be based on a road and infrastructure project. Your main tasks: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) Requirements: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
