Lift erector — Borough of Oldham

Join our team: we are hiring a lift erector in Borough of Oldham, England. The job is on a high-rise construction site. You will test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy. You should have: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics 6+ years on the tools preferred.
