Quality assurance assistant — Kitsap County

The role involves: • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift You should have: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
