Join our team: we are hiring a moulder in Motley County, Texas. The job is in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Day to day you will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant.
