Tyre fitter — Seward County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tyre fitter in Seward County, Kansas. You will work at a busy tyre bay. What we are looking for: • Awareness of workshop health and safety • Punctual and willing to work weekends • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills On a typical shift you will torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench; check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear; demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine; fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
