Tig welder wanted in Madison County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tig welder in Madison County, Missouri. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Your main tasks: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
