Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Mercer County, Illinois. You will work on a road construction project. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections Day-to-day duties: • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle 6+ years on the tools preferred.
