GTAW welder — Washington County

Join our team: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Washington County, Florida. You will be based on a structural steel site. Day-to-day duties: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
