Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Lee County, Alabama. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Day to day you will control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
