Great opportunity: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Grainger County, Tennessee. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. Your main tasks: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Basic grinding and fettling skills Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
