GTAW welder • Platte County, Nebraska

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Platte County, Nebraska. You will work on a structural steel site. On a typical shift you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard 6+ years on the tools preferred.
