Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry operative in Nobles County, Minnesota. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards The role involves: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits.
