Great opportunity: we are hiring a metal caster in Fillmore County, Nebraska. On the job you will handle: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring Ideal candidate: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
