Quality assurance assistant • Polk County, Florida

Immediate opening: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Polk County, Florida. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing The role involves log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
