GMAW welder • Ferry County, Washington

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Ferry County, Washington. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. Day-to-day duties: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Requirements: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Six days a week, one day off.
