Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Your main tasks: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers 3+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
