Industrial sewing operator wanted in Ford County

Now hiring: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Ford County, Kansas. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. What we are looking for: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Day to day you will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
