Lift technician — Arochukwu

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift technician in Arochukwu, Abia State. Day-to-day duties: • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays What we are looking for: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
