Sausage maker — Fayette County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sausage maker in Fayette County, Tennessee. The job is in a supermarket meat department. You should have: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate You will run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. $5,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
