Argon welder wanted in Andrews County

Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Andrews County, Texas. On a typical shift you will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. Ideal candidate: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
