Join our team: skimming plasterer (Tennessee)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Decatur County, Tennessee. You will work at a new-build housing development. Day-to-day duties: • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration Ideal candidate: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
