Ladle pourer wanted in Jackson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Jackson County, Minnesota. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. You will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Meals and transport allowance provided.
