Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Cumberland County, Tennessee. You will work at a busy gas installation company. Day-to-day duties: • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points You should have: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
