Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Knott County, Kentucky. The job is on commercial and industrial sites. Day to day you will connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes. What we are looking for: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
