Great opportunity: we are hiring a demolition labourer in Pike County, Arkansas. Requirements: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times On the job you will handle: • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
