Mason's helper • Calhoun County, South Carolina

Now hiring: we are hiring a mason's helper in Calhoun County, South Carolina. You will be based on a road and bridge project. Your main tasks: • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean Requirements: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
