Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium technician in South Central Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based in a fabrication and glazing factory. Ideal candidate: • Good finishing sense — no scratches, clean silicone lines • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints Day-to-day duties: • Anchor frames to brick or RCC openings with fixing lugs and dash fasteners • Punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware • Install glass panels and secure them with glazing beads • Read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors • Load and offload fabricated units without scratching the finish • Fix handles, hinges, friction stays, locks and multipoint hardware At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
