We are recruiting: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Butler County, Missouri. You will work on the moulding line. On the job you will handle: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture Requirements: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
