The role involves hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron.
