Great opportunity: rigging foreman (England)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Lancashire, England. You will work at a power plant. You will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles We offer £2,650 per month plus benefits.
