Lift mechanic • Onondaga County, New York

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Onondaga County, New York. The job is on a high-rise construction site. You will carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; run load and overload tests with test weights; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches. Requirements: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Six days a week, one day off.
