Garment machinist wanted in Lee County

Join our team: we are hiring a garment machinist in Lee County, Georgia. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Your main tasks: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
