Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. Your main tasks: • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash Ideal candidate: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
