Rigger wanted in Borough of Stockport

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rigger in Borough of Stockport, England. You will be based at a container port. Day to day you will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Full-time, day shift. Pay around £2,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
