Tyre service technician wanted in Essex County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tyre service technician in Essex County, New Jersey. You will be based at a roadside mobile fitting unit. The role involves remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts; demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine; carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe; fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly; torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench. Requirements: • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly 6+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
