Vacancy available: glass and glazing technician (Michigan)

Now hiring: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Monroe County, Michigan. You will be based at a glass and aluminium factory. Day-to-day duties: • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass Ideal candidate: • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Driving licence for site-to-site work preferred At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
