Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Sierra County, New Mexico. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. The role involves strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
