Now hiring: production welder (Maryland)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a production welder in Saint Mary's County, Maryland. You will work at an automobile body shop. On the job you will handle: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
